The Inhumanoids are a very small but diverse group of giant malicious primeval beings that have terrified the planet since prehistoric times.
Since the time of the dinosaurs the Inhumanoids have waged a war below the surface of the earth with the Mutores, another diverse race of beings that have worked together to protect the Earth and commune with nature. Eventually the Mutores were triumphant in their long war and managed to defeat and trap the Inhumanoids in the mantle of the Earth.
In modern times the Inhumanoids were once again freed through both accident and design and now they once again roam the Earth above and below its crust seeking to enslave and destroy all those who oppose them.
Since then the Mutores have allied with a human team of scientists and explorers called Earth Corps to defeat the Inhumanoids to save the planet from them once and for all.
Tendril is a 30 foot tall humanoid that is a hybrid of both plant and animal. When a piece of his body mass was studied by Earth Corp scientist Doctor Derek Bright he discovered that the creature was a strange mixture of seaweed and a mollusk.
Dimwitted and easily angered Tendril has been known by the Mutores as the “Ravager of the Mantle” for his destructive rampages below and above the Earth’s crust. Because of these incidents throughout early man’s history it has caused some to theorize that his appearance gave rise to the myth of Cthulhu.
Because of his lack of intelligence Tendril is easily manipulated by his fellow Inhumanoids Metlar and D’Compose and he often takes physical and verbal abuse from both for his clumsiness and inability to follow orders any more complicated than “kill” or “destroy.”
Tendril possesses immense strength and powerful limbs that can crush or smash most anything in their slimy grip. Tendril is also amphibious and can survive underwater or on land indefinitely.
If he is injured Tendril can regenerate missing limbs and body mass rapidly though if a large enough chunk of his mass is removed it will rapidly grow into an exact duplicate of himself which he can command. There is no known limit to how many Tendril duplicates he can make and command in this manner. Tendril can cause his clones to decay into dust within seconds by verbally commanding them to wither.
Tendril can alter his size at will though the upper limits to this power, if any, have yet to be revealed though these size changes seem temporary at best since he usually remains at his average height of 30 feet for the majority of his time.
Tendril hasn’t shown any major physical weaknesses like his brethren but his limited intelligence has proven his downfall on many occasions. Tendril, Inhumanoids copyright Hasbro
hehe he was pretty fun to watch in the cartoon. The best episode was when all of them were accidentally sprayed with love potion and Tendril fell in love with a robot duplicate of himself from a movie being made about the monsters
Amazing!
Thanks, I used an animator's sketch from the original show as reference
He is cute monster! XD
Nice art!
