Resident Weeble

Once again I got bored and did random searches for toys I had as a baby and came across this commercial with the tagline that has stuck in my head ever since. And whenever I played Resident Evil I would say Weeble mocking the evil voice in the opening title screen of the game and it would make me laugh before the horror began.

I've been wanting to do this combo forever as a picture, but I couldn't come up with something more fun than just drawing a Weeble version of the main characters. Then I found a picture of an old Weeble Haunted House play set and as soon as I did Resident Weeble fell into place for me.

The one thing I learned from this is I definitely need to hunt down an egg shape stencil because no matter how perfect I got them with the pencil, as soon as I inked them the Weeble's got messed up because my hand was unsteady on a curve.

Maybe I'll do a better job with Resident Weeble 2
